Seeing as the fandom has grown quite large there are a lot of us who have different anthropomorphic interpretations of not only historical events but character origins/interactions/relations. Here is a basic guide to the forums view on canon to avoid clashing head canons and other such interpretations. It is important that you take a look at this before applying because it could cause confusion if not and then cause you to do something that does not go with what was established here.
- This world is filled with languages, and as such, it’s difficult for the people of certain nations to communicate with that of others. However, since nations have a very long lifespans, or generally have a long lifespan, it is safe to assume that they are able to invest the time that it takes to master another language. Thus, when they were born, they are bestowed with the ability to not only understand the native tongue of their people but the dominate language of the world (universal language of the time).
- The paradoxical question concerning The Holy Roman Empire. As is known, the Holy Roman Empire (HRE) had a very depressing existence, plagued by challenges from not only France but many others as well and constant warfare. Since the actual canon leaves the fate of HRE to our own interpretation, for the sake of this forum, we will just say that HRE in a sense does die (emotionally and mentally), but is revived to become the North German Confederation and eventually the Federal Republic of Germany. However, how it happens exactly will be left to the Germany role-player and any other party involved.
- The second paradoxical question: what to do with Prussia after the dissolution of the Free Republic of Prussia in 1947? That is a very good question and although there are a few historical forums that chose to kill him off. We have decided that instead of Prussia’s untimely death. He remains alive and becomes the German Democratic Republic, also known as East Germany and later takes on a similar role to South Italy between the Italy brothers.
- This may be a forum for mature players and as is well known war is nothing pretty. Not every battle or fight must be re-enacted in a brutual or gore filled manner. It's okay if it's once in a while but let's try not to overdo it. So use your discretion when it comes to threads such as those.
- Familial relations is a touchy subject because you can never be sure who's actually related and who's just using the title for shits and giggles. Well, we'll try and clear that up as best as we can.
- You would consider another nation your family if they come from a similar ancestral lineage for example Spain and Portugal or Germany and Prussia. However, nations that are culturally similar like France is to Italy doesn't necessarily mean their brothers but more like distant cousins. There's nothing wrong with say Italy referring to Spain as his big brother but that's more of an endearing title than actual strong blood relations.
