Soo, anyone interested in plotting with this gutsy Magyar? I'm a very lenient rper and welcoming of all ideas, so never feel afraid to ask me anything. But here are some scenarios that I would find interesting to play.
- Parental bonding with Magyar (Magyar) - The Mongol control of Hungary (Mongolia) - Italian influence in Medieval Hungary (N.Italy) - Ottoman Hungary (Turkey--Kinda biased about this one mhm) - The 1848 Revolution (Austria, Russia, Poland)
- The compromise between the Habsburgs and Hungarians (Austria) - The Hungarian-Romanian War (Romania) - Hungarian assistance with the Winter War (Finland) - German occupation of Hungary during WWII (Germany) - The 1956 Revolution (Russia) - Fall of the Soviet Union (Austria, Prussia) - Anything friendly with other nations in present day - Polish-Hungarian Friendship Day (Poland)
Yesh, I'm hungry haha.

You wish Roderich. )But really the compromise could be fun. Hungary could be having thoughts of revolting after Austria lost the Austro-Prussian War and use it as an opportunity to revolt again. And not wanting cause more tension, Austria and his leaders could propose a dual monarchy between the countries. Also known as their marriage. (Since in the Hetalia canon, Liz was Rod's servant prior to the compromise.)

You, you get lost.
Yeah ignore her.xD
Well personally I believe that Hungary was most likely a pre-teen/teenager during the Ottoman occupation. So following how rebellious Ottoman Turkey was, she'll most likely try and fight him off (Being stubborn as Hell but ultimately failing.)
Oh yeah, there's also my little headacanon that in the modern day Elizabeta is still slightly afraid/nervous of him. Which can be found in my app. If you need to know more, I don't mind being messaged on here or Chatango.c:

Hmmm, yes, you'll have to give me a lot more information on your headcanon so that I can fit my own with yours. I've always felt they had an on and off relationship. There were times they got along and other times they didn't. For me, one of my headcanons is that he always calls her princess or tulip because of the fact that he had thought she was a boy when he had taken her in and found out otherwise one day. Also, because I imagine the name would bug her when she was younger and now it has just stuck.
I also feel that Sadik was the one that got her to wear her real dress. He showed her essentially to be a real woman by putting her in his harem and getting her educated.
My headcanon for this fluctuates but you can tell me what you think. I always had the headcanon that he was the one that took her virginity.
Anyway, let me know your side.

Yes, I like were your going with this very much. Considering Turkish influence on Hungary at the time, it would make sense.
As for the virginity one, I thought I was the only one who believed in that headcanon.;D But yes, it could most certainly work with mine, do expect a message from me.

(Also, we are doing one thread with Sadik right? Can't wait to see his sexy face.)
For reals, substantial planning.
I am going to dumb some dates here for my (and possibly your) reference.
This will be edited and updated.
30th of October, 1866 - Prague Baron Beust was appointed Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs in virtue of a decree.
19th November, 1866 - Buda(pest) the Hungarian parliament was opened, and the Imperial rescript read. It admitted that the project of a compromise originated by the Déak party afforded a suitable starting-point for further negotiations, and held out hopes of the appointment of a responsible Hungarian ministry; but, at the same time, it announced the resolve of the Crown to carry out the system of responsible government, not only in Hungary, but also generally throughout the empire.
Shortly after this, Baron Beust, accompanied by the President of the Hungarian “ Chancellerie,” M. de Mailath, proceeded to Pest, where he had a long conference with Déak. (Using this private conference as the starting point)
A few days before the close of the year The result of this conference enabled the "Pesti Naplo" to state that Baron Beust had held out the positive assurance that the speedy nomination of a Hungarian ministry was contemplated.
8th of January, 1867 - Vienna Franz Joseph received the deputation of Hungarian Diet, and was told that the negotiations of Baron Beust for the compromise with Hungary were making great progress. Franz Joseph sent back to further and assist in the completion of the work (despite Count Belcredi's resistance)
14th of January, 1867 Count Andrassy (part of deputation) reported its success to Déak.
19th of January, 1867 Count Andrassy returned to Vienna.
23rd of January, 1867 The Emperor declared, in reply to the address voted by the Hungarian Diet against the octroyé supplementary army law, that “ He would be ready to accede to the wishes of the country so soon as the difficulties which still hindered the formation of a responsible Hungarian Ministry were removed.”
7th of February, 1867 the dismissal of Dismissal of Count Belcredi, and the appointment of Beust as interior minister.
11th of February, 1867 Count Andrassy, whom public opinion in Hungary had designated for the post of Minister President, arrived in the capital (Vienna), and received from the Emperor the decree appointing him to that high office, and at the same time intrusting him with the formation of a Hungarian Ministry.
17th of February, 1867 The Imperial and Royal rescript officially published and conferred upon Hungary the restitution of her full parliamentary rights.
30th of March, 1867 Hungarian Lower House accepted the resolution of the commission of the sixty-seven committee.
3rd of April, 1867 Hungarian Lower House accepted the resolution of the commission of the sixty-seven committee.
22nd of May, 1867 The Austrian Parliament reassembled for the first time after two years.
8th of June - Buda-Pest Coronation of the Emperor Francis as Joseph I of Hungary.

Yes, these are actually very helpful thank you.^^
Seeing as Emperor Francis' coronation is on the June 8th, we agreed to have Roderich and Elizabeta's wedding ceremony that day, yes? So like you said, they could have some chatting time alone while the meeting is commencing about what's going on and how they feel about it. Then from there we could go to the coronation/wedding. Unless you want to rp the events in between that timespan.

Let's see what Elizaveta demands during our private, personal negotiation. xD If she demands Roderich to escort her during her wedding dress design trip in Vienna because we have better tailors, we would have to RP something in between, no?

Neddy, is that you?
Of course! I may have to do some research on any historical events between the two, but relying on popular belief and history, these two would be cousins that have grown apart over the years. Maybe we could do a cultural family reunion thread if you wish?

Yup, 'tis be me.
Them being cousins sounds good to me. As for history, er, well, from what I know there isn't much history, save from very, very early stuff. We could either do something from there when they were both kids (could be fun, and definitey something I haven't tried before!), or just have them casually meet up in present times and do something like housework like good waifus pfft. Or spar or -

Why not both? They both seem like good ideas to me.~ How about I start one and you could start the other?
