It was the box of gifts that Francis had sent him that really through Ludwig off when he had been prepared to leave for Venezuela’s house. And, it was these items that still had him extremely tense throughout the entire trip over. He should have expected the Frenchman to do something like this but…why would he send Ludwig a cock ring….of all things. The tall man’s face flushed at the reminder as he got a few stares on the street for this whilst making his way to the café.
It was an incredibly hot day to say the least and even though Ludwig had looked up the temperature he had not expected…well…this. He tugged at his collar before wiping the back of his hand over his forehead. The German was sweating already and he had barely been here in an hour. He can’t help but let out a sigh as he finds the location he had been given.
Ludwig glances down at the address he had written on a small sheet of paper just to make sure more than anything before going over and stepping inside. He was sure Venezuela wouldn’t mind that he had opted to waiting in the air conditioning rather than the heat. Ludwig was a little embarrassed about this because, in fact, he did like heat which was proven the many times he had gone to visit the small Italian nation but…this was getting a little too much. He really just hoped that the chocolates he had brought for the woman hadn’t melted and that she wouldn’t be late.

Everything was going to be perfect. Though regarding most things María was extremely disorganized, dates and specially having visitors in her land where her specialty. As soon as she knew who her date would be, she made sure to write down everything she knew about Germany, what things he might enjoy about the city, what would scare him, she had a mission and she would analyze things and strategize as much as her date did towards wars. Venezuela wasn't the country of love, but she wasn't very far in that competition. Speaking of France, she wasn't sure what to do with her gifs. The camera would surely be used, but she couldn't think what to do with the rose petals, and after trying on the lip gloss and spending a whole afternoon biting her lips, she decided she'd take it but probably not use it.
On the day of the meeting she had everything ready in advance. Her bag with the gifts were by the door, she was wearing heels that would make the height difference smaller, and last but not least, the envelope with the day's schedule was in the table. After looking at herself on the mirror one last time she decided to open just another front button from the dress. Normally she'd go with something with that showed more skin, but she assumed something like that would make her date even more tense instead of making him comfortable. With no more improvements to be made she left smiling to herself, France's note for her had made her giggle and she was decided she'd have fun on this date regardless of whether she succeeded or not.
Despite all her preparation María still arrived ten minutes late, calculating how long it took to go from one place to the other was never her strongest trait. When she didn't see the visiting nation by the door she hoped it was because of the sun and not her delay and went inside to look for him. When she spotted him in a table near the window she smiled widely, no wonder he had gone inside, with that blazer he wouldn't be able to stand the heat.
"Sorry I'm late Ludwig, I hope you didn't have to wait for me for too long" She said smiling, not sure whether she should greet him with a kiss on the cheek or if that would scare him.

Ludwig was surprised at how busy the place was considering the heat. Then again, most of the natives of Venezuela probably didn’t think this to be that hot, unlike him. During the summer it could easily get this hot in Germany but alas, it was winter back home and so to adjust so quickly from cold to hot wasn’t boding very well with him.
He was actually surprised that there was a table open at the back corner of the café and had made his way over there to claim the spot for when Maria did make an appearance. However, he really had expected her to come so late, although, he probably should have expected it. It was something he had grown quite used to having been friends with Feliciano for nearly a century.
It was also something that Ludwig had extensively researched trying hard to get to the bottom of it but not finding any scientific answers and more so things that had to do with culture and way of thought. His research had just pulled up educated guesses and so he had gone on confused and unsatisfied with his findings.
The good thing was that when Maria did make an appearance it was extremely hard to miss her and heads turned to stare at her entrance. Ludwig had been glancing down at his watch at that instance and only looked up when he heard the women speak.
He stood up and leaned down to kiss her on both cheeks, seeing as it had slowly snuck into his culture, and he also dealt with Francis and Feliciano on a daily basis to realise that it was polite to do. Ludwig pulled the chair back for Maria before shaking his head. “Don’t worry about it.”
Not his typical response considering he really didn’t like when people were late for scheduled outings but Maria was his hostess and this wasn’t a typical meeting. “I’ve waited longer for Feliciano and Francis than you.”
When he was sure she was seated he pushed her chair in and took a seat of his own. “Did you want something to drink?”

Now this was a surprise. When María noticed she was late she had been sure her date would lecture her about it, maybe it was a valentine's day miracle, there were those for christmas, why not valentines? She blushed a bit, being slightly ashamed of being late for something she had spent so much time planning. She smiled apologetically and tried to make what amends she could."I really am sorry for being late, but thank you for your patience." But the show must go on and so does this date. "I'd like a coffee with milk please" she replied smiling to herself at how polite the german man was, not that he was exagerating, just that she knew this was probably odd for him. "I hope you don't find this odd, but I know you like things to be organized so I made and printed a PDF with today's activities. Hope you don't mind that I planned things on my own either, we can change it if you like, it's just that I thought since you're the one visiting and...well...I don't know if you're used with dates...so...I just planned the hole thing." She smiled weakly hoping the man wouldn't feel insulted because she was leading. She handed him the envelope with the document, maybe it had been a bit of an exageration to spray perfume in it, it wasn't too strong but it still might have been a bit too much. "I hope you liked the places I choose, they're all inside the same park, which is just around the corner. I know you like the outdoors so why not enjoy a nice day outside? And don't worry, I brought everything you might need, sunblock, insect repellent, sunburn relief gel, a cap and we can get water bottles before we leave" She was trully proud of her arrengments. They were all nice things that would help make her visitor relax and wouldn't push him into doing anything he didn't want, but at the same time all the activities could be seen as romantic, thus apropriate for a date. This would be a good day for sure.

(Please let us know if you want us to delete this guys! It was only for a bit of fun <3)
Feliciano had been busy running through ideas for his own friendly date with a certain Turkish nation one evening when, as usual, his mind began to wander from the task at hand.
He'd started speculating over who each of his friends had been allocated for their blind-dates, and it had only taken some minor sleuthing in order to find them out. He'd found the pair-ups to be fun and interesting, but Feliciano had become just a little concerned about what on earth was going to happen to Ludwig’s mental-wellbeing during his date however.
He wasn’t concerned about Maria of course; the pretty Venezuelan was a sweet girl. However she was outgoing in a similar way to Feliciano himself. And that in turn worried the Italian slightly. Ludwig had a tendency to be fairly awkward in certain settings... and a blind-date could be one such situation. Immediately Feliciano's over-active imagination came into play; what if the German man freaked out? What if he completely froze up? A lovely day could be ruined!
After fretting over the problem for a short while (Read as: ‘After phoning Roderich and wailing that Ludwig’s head might explode… or his heart… or possibly both at once leading to either a large mess in the middle of the street, or another infamous case of Germanic-brain-failure-blue-screen-of-deathitis'), the pair rather spontaneously idiotically decided to tail the German and Venezuelan on their date; in order to ensure Ludwig didn’t end up in the nearest loony-bin.
It was merely friendly concern and a desire to give Ludwig moral support that swayed their decision... really!
And so here they were, in a decidedly warm and sunny Caracas, tailing Ludwig and Maria like the best worst spies in history. Stealth was not Feliciano’s forte… indeed the Italian loved to be seen and heard, and couldn’t just simply will himself to revert the other way and disappear unlike other nations he could mention. He was wearing clothes that probably weren’t standard issue for those trying to be incognito; and the designer sun-shades forced on him by his own brother all but screamed ‘look at me I’m trying to be secretive and failing’!
Here in the hustle and bustle… they stuck out like a pair of sore thumbs and didn’t even realize it!
He took a swig of his own coffee, leaning with one foot braced against a wall whilst trying to pull off ‘suave and mysterious’… but only ended up looking slightly ridiculous (go figure).
Feliciano pushed the aforementioned shades up the bridge of his nose with a forefinger. The smirk curling his lips as he turned to his partner in crime wouldn’t have looked out of place on his own Grandfather back in his conquering heyday. “Hm~ Roderich? Has the target been sighted yet?”

The Republic of France has, regrettably, successfully forcibly driven the motion to make nations going on blind dates passed again this year. Technically speaking, it was not much of a problem to most of the nations since they did, at least, know how to deal with awkward situations such as romantic dates, or they simply had the ability to convert it to something friendly in nature. Dating, or befriending Norway was not a problem at all, thought Roderich, since he had nothing else to lose. Gilbert dating Luciano, too, shouldn't have issues (or it would just be the Prussian's problem afterwards). Feliciano dating Sadik could be concerning, but Roderich's almost-nonexistent optimism still had hopes that Sadik did not completely think with his lower body.... ...but Ludwig was an issue. Big issue. He had witnessed (or observing from behind) how crazy could the German flutter his heart, and how his CPU failure led to blue screen and processor burn-down... If anything else, Roderich felt completely sorry for the fine lady who might have to suffer dragging the gigantic mass of muscles around her city looking for nonexistent cures for the genetically deficient German... Anyhow, the concerned Austrian soon received a call from Feliciano, who also became concerned about the date Ludwig will be going to, as a friend, hint-hint. After a short conversation with the Italian, they have decided that it would be their best interest to observe the German just to make sure he would receive proper kiss of life in case his heart exploded again unnecessarily. Perhaps, some moral support might have too. Thus, for the first time of his life Roderich walked onto the land of Caracas with an Italian, very big pair of designer sunglasses to hide his face, and this outfit. [ static.fashionbeans.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/drivingmain2.jpg ] They purposely arrived earlier so they wouldn't get lost they could make sure the entire interaction would be observed. Two extremely sharp looking European walking down the street conversing in German and Italian respectively did attract strange eyes from locals, but long centuries of dealing with Gilbert had made Roderich quite skilled at the art of following people without being discovered stalking. Still, Roderich looked way too standing out. To begin with, there was no one walking around with skin as pale as the Austrian indoor car. Besides, who would still wear a rolled up shirt and denim under 30 degrees in Caracas? People were mostly wearing T shirts and shorts... And like Feliciano, the designer shades attracted so many unwanted attention, yet Roderich's weak eyes could not live without it... so there was nothing he could do. " Oui Feliciano, ils ont été aperçus." Sipping his coffee (and criticising how the coffee should be improved in French quietly), Roderich officially started the observation through mirror reflection hidden in a book. " Regardez- C'est un baiser maladroit..." Roderich beckoned Feliciano to look at the mirror with him. "I thought you have taught him better than that..."

Ludwig straightened in his sit as he memorized her order for when he did decide to go fetch them a drink. However, there was intent in her eyes and it kept him rooted to his chair as he waited for the next part of her explanation. For once in his life Ludwig had not planned anything more than meeting Maria at the café but he hadn’t been too sure what they could have done together that wouldn’t have crossed any lines in his eyes.
He had done his research, as was accustomed but Caracas was a large city much like Berlin and there were numerous things that both individuals could take part in. Also, it would have been rude for him to come with a plan when he wasn’t even hosting the date (not that he hadn’t done something of that sort before…but he had learned his lesson).
Ludwig can’t help but give her a small smile. “Frau Maria, it’s fine, you would know your city better than I anyway.” He tries to reassure her as she hands him the envelope and he’s immediately assaulted by the scent of perfume. Well, that was slightly strange and very unorthodox for paper to smell like perfume…and it was the same perfume Maria had been wearing, he had taken note of it when he had bent down to kiss her in greeting.
“I don’t mind at all. It’s actually quite refreshing that I’m not the only one that likes organization.” He says as he gently opens the envelope and pulls out the document that was carried inside. His gaze goes over it flushing lightly at the inappropriate comments before he stops reading, his lips thinning. She wouldn’t have written that herself so it must have been another nation who had gotten a hold of the document and slipped it back in the envelope before she noticed.
Ludwig cleared his throat trying to hide the small blush as he glances at Maria. “Ah…Frau Maria, I’m not sure if you’re aware….but it seems someone else has gotten a hold of your document.” He says as he turns the sheets in his hands and slides it over to her. “I’m sure none of the red writing was of your intention…correct?”
“Excuse me, I’ll go get our drinks as you look over it.” Ludwig says as he gently eases out of his chair and heads to the barista ordering two coffees and both of them with milk. He pays glad he had exchanged some currency before arriving before heading back with some sugar and stir sticks to place one in front of Maria and retake his seat.
Unbeknownst to either individual was the presences of two more nations located somewhere outside of the café…who were keeping a close watch. However, if they had been found out, there would be at least one irritated and frustrated individual.

For a moment Maria was beaming, because things were working and Ludwig was even smiling, all thanks to her rare moment of organization, though she'd have to do something about the too formal atmosphere. But then Luciano's red handwriting happened, and for a moment she forgot how to breathe. This explained why his face had looked slightly angry when he read the paper, for a moment she was worried he didn't like her plan but apparently this time what bothered him had not been her fault. Or maybe it was, since she really should have double chacked the document before leaving... As the words Luciano yo voy a matarte, tu puto! ran through her mind among many other insults and manners of aggression; Maria tried her best to keep calm, glad that her date wasn't there to see her trying to keep smiling while her eyes were filled with fire. Of course she couldn't really say that she did not agree with some of the things he wrote, but she was sure that writing it down like that was definitely not the best way to make things happen. The whole point of the document was to make the german more at ease, and thanks to her neighboor's "help" that plan had just gone down the drain. Her face did look a bit happily cruel as she made a mental note to have a "talk" with her dear friend later, but her date was coming back so she quickly changed it back to normal.
She cleared her throat a bit, hopping her cheeks weren't too red, before starting with the apologies, might as well try to fix things right? "Ludwig, I'm SO sorry....I should have checked before leaving the house. Luci was visiting me yesterday, I should have imagined he'd get *creative*" She stirred her coffee as she spoke, glad she had an excuse to avoid eye contact for a moment before continuing "But I hope you liked the actual schedule, I was really hoping you'd at least have fun today" She said with a small hopeful smile, trying to sound even more sorry and innocent than she truly was. Who knows, maybe being cute would get her out of trouble... it did usually work at least...

As Ludwig takes a seat he makes sure to carefully set his coffee down before adding some sugar of his own and stirring it in lightly. The plane ride had been long and unfortunately he hadn’t gotten enough rest on the flight and had to make do with watching the movies provided or reading the guide book he had bought on Venezuela. To say the least, he knew a lot more about the southern nation than he had before which he thought was a good start especially if they were to try and discuss things concerning her lands.
His gaze fell on her as she cleared her throat, her cheeks were as red as his had been when he was reading the document, and really, he couldn’t blame her for that. It was quite embarrassing having your guest read something so inappropriate when that was far from your initial intention.
“It’s find Frau Maria. I’m sure if you had come to my house my bruder would have done something similar if not worse.” He reassures as he takes a tentative sip of his coffee, finding that it was actually really good, not that he was really worried, he wasn’t a coffee snob after all.
Ludwig gives her a small smile. “It was a lovely plan. I’m curious to see the planetarium. There’s a nice walking planetarium in Switzerland that you should see. If you ever come for a visit, Frau Maria, I could take you there. I’m certain Vash wouldn’t mind me showing you around his place.”
He wasn’t angry with her by any means. They were circumstances that unfortunately couldn’t be controlled especially considering the people you hold dear. Besides Gilbert, he was sure if Francis had stopped by for any reason it could have been much worse than what Luciano had wrote on Maria’s document. Regardless, the plans were great and most of the activities if not all of them were all things that he enjoyed doing. Ludwig couldn’t help but wonder if they had any Polar Bears at the zoo they would be visiting.
( I'm pretty sure going to the zoo was on the list but when I tried to pull up the document it was gone. D: Regardless, if it's not, I'll just fix it up and we're good to go. )

"I'm glad you liked my original planning" She replied to his statement with a smile on her lips. She was relieved that he wasn't mad about what Luciano had done, but she was even happier that he had liked the things she picked up for them to do. "If I ever come to visit, I'll be sure to remind you of that offer. I must admit I don't know much about the stars, but I admire their beauty as I admire all of God's creations" Maria said in a sweet voice, remembering of all the different versions of the creation of the world that could be found among her indigenous tribes.
"And also, please call me just Maria. Unless you want to add a word that implies affection of some kind, I'd rather you called me by my name only." She said with a stern look in her eyes, though her lips were in a half smile. "After all, this is a date. It feels weird to have you calling me in such a formal way" Her attempt at seriousness had already turned into an affectionate smile. Of course this was one of the things that would push the German man a little out of his comfort zone, but wasn't that her plan all along?
"Oh! Before I forget" She started, leaning down to pick up the red box with his gift "this is for you." She said as she handed it to him. "I didn't know what to give you. I thought about maybe a tie, but some men have a strict style for those, and I didn't know yours. So instead, I decided to give you some powdered cocoa. I could never compete with your fine chocolates, but I can provide better cocoa. With that you can make whatever chocolate you want, I'm sure you have better techniques for it than I do, but at the same time it's still a gift from me." Maria shared the planning behind the gift, hoping he'd like the gift and not mind that usually it was the man who gave chocolates to the woman. This wasn't exactly chocolate though, so maybe he wouldn't even notice that, but it was still a gift that would make it necessary for him to work on it...
((the zoo was indeed on the list ^-^ though it's a more of a "local animals" kind of zoo XD ))

Ludwig had probably read up more on Venezuela than he had first thought seeing as he was quite aware of many of the indigenous species that were found within her borders on top of the botany of her country. There had been only one chapter in his guide book that touched base on the issue with a bit more depth but, of course, with each region there was a small description of what it had to offer in regards to nature. Then again, most German guide books on other countries touched base on a lot of outdoor activities.
Maria had a point. It was odd that he was being so formal with her but then again he didn’t know the woman that well and had dimmed it almost necessary to treat her with such regards. “Ah, ja, my apologize. From now on I’ll try to remember to only call you by your first name.” He replies with a slight flush of embarrassment. Ludwig had caught on to the affection in her smile and was a little relieved that she wasn’t completely put off by his formality. “Ludwig is just fine too…if we’re discarding the formalities.” He adds but not having to worry too much about it seeing as she already referred to him by his first name and it would have been odd hearing her use the suffix signor in front of his name.
His attention was caught at her slight exclamation as he watched her lean down to grab something. Ludwig took the box with a bit of a flush as he glanced down at it curiously. “You didn’t have to get me anything, Maria.” He says lightly. A smile crept onto his face at her explanation and knowing full well that he was going to take advantage of this fine cocoa powder which reminded him.
“I nearly forgot. I brought you a gift as well.” He goes on as he pulls out the box of chocolates and slides it over to her. “I meant to give it to you when you first arrived but you know how it is.” He adds.
Ludwig gently tucked the small box away in his bag before glancing back at Maria. “Shall we start with your plan in that case? No point in staying in the café when there are better things to do, ja.” He smiles as he gently eases himself up, grabs his bag and offers her his arm.

Maria blushed lightly when she received the chocolates, smiling warmly at her companion "You didn't have to, but thank you very much" She didn't eat chocolates often, but she'd be sure to savor these when she had the time. "You're right, we should get going" she added, following his cue to put away her gift and pick up her purse. She was glad to have him offer her his arm, and took it with a smile on her face, thinking of how sweet the German man was being.
"Wait Ludwig, I almost forgot" she said while searching through her bag. "There you go" was all she said while putting a cap in his head "Trust me, without that you'll have a headache" she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek in a rather motherly manner. "Now we can go. The zoo is just around the corner, I hope you'll like it. Even though it's got only local animals, it's still very nice."
She kept talking about everything and nothing at the same time until they arrived at their destination. There was a slight breeze in the air, which made it easier for her German companion she was sure. The camera Francis had given her turned out quite useful. She took pictures of all the animals she saw, of the cute families and couples who were also visiting the zoo, and whenever she thought he wasn't looking, pictures of her date too. Ludwig somehow seemed to look a bit more relaxed and happier when he looked at the animals, maybe they distracted him from all the serious scenarios inside his head, she imagined. Either way, on such moments he looked almost cute, and much younger, and Maria couldn't help but to take pictures of him in such occasions. Maybe, just maybe, she'd show these to him later, suggest that he be like that more often, though maybe that would only make him blush, which was still not a bad result.
When they had been walking for over three ours, Maria thought it was best they take a break, or her guest might not make it until the end of the day. She pulled Ludwig by the hand to the few tables that were in the shade of a large tree. "Wait here, I'll get us some Ice cream. What flavor do you want?" she asked as she dropped her things in the chair beside the one his.

Ignoring Roderich’s beckoning to join him in a more unobtrusive and far less obvious position; Feliciano continued to unabashedly watch their intended targets from behind his dark glasses. Once or twice the foolish need to intervene had almost sent him hurrying over in order to ‘help’ proceedings, yet he contained himself for the most part, merely deigning to watch Ludwig’s actions and reactions with hawk like determination and the occasional ‘tutting’ sound of one who was far more apt in social situations than the awkward German.
He didn’t mean to appear so condescending; it was compassion and not mockery that steeled his resolve to help, misguided though it may be.
The Italian regarded their interactions with a practiced eye, and smiled as Ludwig seemed to relax a little more as they conversed. He couldn’t quite hear their conversations from their vantage point, but he could gather the basic gist (years as a nation had served him a little in lip-reading during boring meetings at least). As their presents were exchanged, Feliciano couldn’t help but feel a small pang in his chest. He’d quite been looking forward to giving out his own chocolates, but as matters stood he’d have to wait. Not to mention in this heat his lovingly crafted confectionaries would end up looking like misshapen blobs… not the desired look he wanted.
Speaking of the heat…
Feliciano loosened his collar a little and spared a glance at his compatriot, his partner-in-crime. He wasn’t sure about the Austrian, but Feliciano was beginning to wilt a little and hoped that the pair they were following would move on soon… preferably somewhere with shade or air-conditioning!
“Ah! Roderich, they’re on the move… let’s go!” Catching Ludwig and Maria standing to leave, Feliciano instantly perked up. Heedless whether Roderich had finished his coffee or not, the enthusiastic Italian grabbed the other hapless mans’ arm and dragged him towards their quarry; making sure to keep a decent distance between them.
It was fortunate that the area was busy this time of day, not only did it make them less conspicuous, but when Maria produced a hat for Ludwig to wear, the general hubbub of chatter smothered Feliciano’s amused laughter which he failed to contain. Gaining control after a few moments, Feliciano lapsed into happy little chuckles and waved a hand at Roderich to keep up.
It appeared their destination was a zoo. A good choice on Maria’s part, Feliciano decided… though the Italian had to keep from losing sight of the objective and cooing over the animals himself. It was a hard temptation to bear, he decided. His fingers fairly itched to sketch some of the creatures here. He’d just torn his gaze away from a Brazilian porcupine (who he swore had the same displeased look and spiky attitude of his own brother) when he caught Maria snapping a few pictures of Ludwig.
It was a shame he was too far away to see properly, but he assumed that Ludwig probably looked a lot more relaxed now. He was cute like that… If he was right and that was why Maria was happily snapping away, maybe if he asked nicely Maria would show him the photographs at a later date? It would possibly mean coming clean about following them but still…
They’d been walking around for some time, and in the current climate, Feliciano was beginning to flag. He’d been forgetting to hide himself quite so promptly, and on one occasion had walked far too close behind them. He spared a glance to Roderich and presumed he probably wasn’t faring any better. Thankfully Maria seemed to be on a similar wavelength as he, as she called a halt under the shade of a large tree, and Feliciano all but slumped gratefully under the shade of another nearby, hidden from sight by the trunk. He nearly whined when Maria mentioned ice-cream… that sounded good, but he doubted it would be possible to remain incognito whilst purchasing one.
“Roderich… have you melted yet?” He smiled over at the Austrian with an air of melodrama.

Ludwig was a little stunned when a cap was placed on his head. He glanced up at it before flushing darker at the kiss even though it was clear the implications of the action. It made him feel considerably younger than he was and also reminded him when he had gone to the zoo with Gilbert all those years ago. “Ah, danke, Maria. That was very thoughtful of you.” He says as he adjusts the cap on his head so he can see a little better.
He didn’t say too much as he walked slowly beside her giving her the occasional nod as she explained things and adding a few replies or stories of his own. The breeze was definitely a nice addition to the weather since when he had first arrived he had heated up like a potato in the oven.
When they arrived at the Zoo, Ludwig immediately relaxed enjoying the array of animals that were scattered around the area. There had been moments he was so absorbed with the animals that he hadn’t realised that Maria was taking pictures of him. His gaze was certainly brighter the more they spent time there and the fact that they were nearly all outdoor exhibits was refreshing in itself. If he had been aware of the pictures taken of him, he would have made a point to object and tell her not to waste film on him but to let him take pictures of her or the animals.
The heat was slowly getting to him and although he was fairly distracted while also making sure to engage Maria through their walk through, there was only so much that could distract from the hot sun. He subconsciously tugged at the collar of his shirt after he had resorted to taking off his blazer to drape it over his arm. Ludwig swore there had been occasions he thought he saw two people that looked a lot like Roderich and Feliciano but discarded that thought because the idea alone was ridiculous.
It wasn’t long after he felt a hand slide into his as he was tugged over to the shade. A small sigh of relief escaped his lips as he pulled the cap up to wipe at the sweat that had formed there before placing it back on.
His gaze fell upon hers as he pondered the question for a few seconds. “Chocolate…but let me help you pay at least.” He protested as he took a seat a little exhausted from the heat more than the walking. Ludwig was quick to pull out his wallet as he took out a bill offering it to her as his share of the cost.
