February 14th, 2013 Galeão Airport — Rio de Janeiro, RJ Brazil The whole thing about random dates had gotten Luciano by surprise, to be quite honest. It was probably France's idea, and while it did frustrate his expectatives to spent at least one more day pretending Carnaval was not over, he wasn't at all opposed to the idea. See, it wasn't even Valentines' Day in Brazil because that, they all celebrated only June 12th, so why not entertain a fellow nation and leave it as it is? He'd have his proper date later. His current blind date in question, however, was Prussia, and while Luciano was far more used to talking and pestering the Prussian's brother, he had no trouble talking to Gilbert at all. They spoke from time to time, still, and the phone calls exchanged to arrange the meeting had gone quite smoothly. See, the Brazilian had even thought of a small tour around the city, which he was sure would be covered in time if the traffic helped — because the sun outside was beautiful as ever. Luciano had gotten the flight number, and as he looked up at the panels, it wasn't late or cancelled. The airport was a bit messy, what with the works for the coming Cup taking place, and he really wished he had them ready early to show off a bit but... The tanned man sighed heavily, shaking his head and scratching the nape of his neck: everything was awfully late, but luckily, Gilbert wouldn't even notice. He was going on a date with the alright brother, not the uptight one, poor María. When the panel showing the flights coming from Europe announced that the flight from Berlin was landing, the Brazilian brightened up a bit. He had decided to pick Gilbert up at the airport, out of pity. Frankly, the German didn't speak a word of Portuguese, and he just screamed 'tourist' too bad... Luciano wouldn't want him to arrive at his place with a bad impression — if he had luck finding anything at Copacabana, that's it. Still, he had not said a word of all that to the other, just insisting that it would be the 'nice' thing to do. Very smooth, Luciano, congratulations. People began to pass by the customs little by little, some English spoken here and there, some German, but a good majority of Brazilians. The brunet smiled warmly at his people coming back home, wishing he had the time to hug them one by one, but he had more important things at hand! When he spotted a mess of white hair, decidedly taller than him, Luciano raised up a small flag printed in office paper, Prussia's flag, and waited with a bright smile for the German to find him in the crowd. ((Ok, and this is the shirt he's wearing, close-up on the stamp, and the pants and shoes.))

One crimson eye peeked open to gaze out the jet's window as he felt the pressure drop ever so slightly. His elbow propped up on the arm rest and his cheek pressed against the palm of his hand, Gilbert woke from his light sleep. He shifted in the seat, his bottom numb from sitting for almost 15 hours, and sighed sleepily, stretching his arm out in front of him as the pilot began mumbling through the speakers. There was a few soft spoken words about the landing and Gil peered at the ground, his lips curving up into an excited grin. France had come up with a sort of Valentine's Day themed blind date for all of the nations to participate in - keep it exciting. Well, Germany had come up with it, too, but he seemed perfectly okay with France receiving most of the credit. Of course, the Prussian already had a real Valentine's Date waiting for him back home, but since they were both participating in the games they had postponed the date. Gilbert could look forward to that later though. At the moment, he had an exciting prospect before him and a bag of goodies at his feet to remind him of this. He hurried to get out of the plane as the door was popped open, growing impatient as the people in front of him took their sweet time to move. Didn’t they know he had somewhere important to be? He rolled his eyes, pulling his bag (Filled with all kinds of necessities and said gifts for the evening) over his shoulder and forcing himself to slow down, stretching his legs as he glanced around the busy terminal. People rushed past him, bustling excitedly for reasons unknown to him. He was aware that it wasn’t actually Valentine’s Day over here yet, so there must have been something else going on that he had not be informed of... He shrugged off the thought, deeming it unimportant as he managed his way through the throng of people. Gilbert had his black sunglasses propped appropriately on his head, about to pull them down to shield his eyes when he spotted a piece of paper shoot up in the air above the heads of people. An excited grin appeared on his features as he recognized his own Prussian flag and he left the sunglasses to stay nestled in his soft white hair; a decidedly more important objective in sight. He waved his hand slightly, signaling that he had seen the Brazilian and approached him with a smile. “Hallo!” He purred a warm greeting, after the fifteen hour flight he was in a surprisingly good mood, probably from all of these cute, smiling Latinos walking around. He was also glad to see the other nation again, if that counted to his content. Pulling the strap of his small bag to re-situate on his shoulder, he continued speaking, snickering lightly, “The awesome me is here to make this only the most awesome day for you. Kese~” _____________________________________ He is wearing this ... Did he do it on purpose? Most likely. _____________________________________

Spotting Gilbert wasn't difficult. The messy white hair kind of shone in the crowd, even if, to Luciano, all of the Europeans' blond hair looked white depending on the light. He quickly caught sight of the other's waving, lowering and folding the paper, pocketing it. It wasn't exactly Prussia's flag, so he could do it, right? Next, he waited for the other to approach him, which left the Brazilian more than enough time to notice just what he was wearing and, man, he wanted to laugh so bad, it was probably a joke. No, it was certainly a joke!
Luciano never prided himself in paying attention to what other people were wearing (nothing like María), or being a reference of slick clothing like a Carolina Herrera propaganda, but sometimes, a shirt or a pair of pants really did catch his attention. This was the case right now, what with Prussia's flowery bright red shirt. He didn't… Well, he did have Hibiscuses there (come to think of it, what plant didn't he have?) but was it necessary? Luciano couldn't bite back his laugh, but thankfully, he was always laughing, so it didn't come out strange. He needed to take the other's shirt off, though, for dignity's sake. Also, so Gilbert wouldn't scream 'tourist' so bad. Details, details...
"Oi!" He greeted back, patting the other's shoulder. Gilbert wasn't much taller than him, only 6cm, which was quite something, but he's had to face worse first, such as the other's brother or Ivan and his 2 meters, maybe more. The Brazilian also laughed at the number of times the 'awesome' word had been said, but that was… Well, it was Prussia being Prussia. "Willkommen in Brasilien!" Luciano hummed next, standing on the tip of his toes to give the German a quick kiss. Well, that should work as a greeting, what with being Valentines' Day and hey, wasn't Ludwig always telling him to be efficient? True efficiency right there.
"How was the flight, anyway?" He asked again, guiding the other off to the exit. Gilbert should put on the sunglasses, but… Well, he'd warn the albino about that later. Good thing the air conditioner on the airport was working, despite all the mess to get things ready for the Cup, so the German wasn't feeling the heat just yet… Well, if anything happened, Luciano would just take him home, never mind the city tour. "If you're hungry, we can stop by somewhere to eat, up to you. Just follow me, I prepared quite a tour before we get to the... point." He licked his lips as he walked on, a sly smirk on his lips at that last part. Awesome day, huh? He'd wait and see.
"Willkommen in Brasilien!" = "Welcome to Brazil!"
