My Reflection
Nation: Le Regione di Sicilia (The Region of Sicily)
Name: Angelica Vargas
Gender: Female
Appearance Age: 22
Actual Age:
~First culture: (10,000 BC) 12,013
~Greece Occupation: (734 BC) 2,744
~Unified Italy: (1860) 153
~Since becoming autonomous: (1946) 67
Appearance
Hair Color: Dark Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5’8
Weight: 140lbs
Appearance: Angelica is generally considered a pretty girl, even if she is a bit plain. Unlike her northern relatives her skin is olive tone, usually tanned from being outside in the sun. Her hair is a dark brown that reaches just past her shoulders to her upper back. It’s wavy, and may curl up if it’s too humid out. It takes a while to style because its thick, so most times its either left down or pulled into a ponytail. She not really thin, but she’s not heavy either. What she lacks in weight she makes up in curves though.
When it comes to how she dresses, don’t expect anything fancy. She almost never dresses up except when she has to. Her outfits are mostly comfortable and working class. She does wear jewelry though. She had her ears pierced when she was younger and has worn earring ever since. She also has a gold cross necklace which was given to her many years ago as a Christmas gift. She also got a tongue piercing in the 1980s, which she hasn’t told anyone about. She simply lets them find out on her own.
Defining Features:
~Her Necklace would most definitely be a defining feature, seeing as she almost never takes it off because of sentimental value.
~For those who notice it, her tongue piercing would be considered a defining feature.
~Angelica also has a particularly stubborn hair curl which is similar to Romano’s, only going to opposite way.
~Her own verbal tic “Vi” is this, as no one just says vi.
Who Am I?
Personality:Angelica can be as a mix of emotions and personalities. She is mostly a sweet, but headstrong, girl, who likes to do her own thing. She loves to laugh, and enjoy life. She’s acquired bit of a perverted side, although she still sees the world through mostly innocent eyes. She also has a tendency to be curious about things, and will touch almost everything she can get her hands on. Above all else though, she is strong and good. She will stand up for what she believes in, and won’t back down. Another important thing to remember is that Angelica has a strong family bond, and will stand up for whoever she considers family.
Yet, despite how strong and good and sweet she is, Angelica is also a brat. She is often nastier towards those she has romantic feelings towards. She also pushes away people who could be close to her as she wants to avoid being hurt by them. She also has a tendency to be, well, violent. If someone is annoying her she’ll throw whatever is in arms reach at them or she’ll just hit them.

Fears:
~Only being known for the Mafia: Although she knows at this point the mafia is really there to stay, she’s afraid that people will only remember her for it. It’s a draining criminal organization which she wouldn’t mind getting rid of. All its brought her is trouble and a bad reputation.
~Losing her family: Despite the differences they may have had in the past, Angelica is glad to have the rest of the Italy. They’re important to her and she considers them her siblings, even if they don’t feel the same way about her.
Fun Facts:
~Angelica has a special love for bad movies. She has no problem camping out on her couch for a day and watching the Sci-fy channel and their monster movies.
~Angelica is very adept at playing the violin. Its one of her favorite things to do when she’s bored.
~For whatever reason Angelica is scary quiet whenever she walks. It’s not uncommon for people not to hear her enter or leave a room.
~Angelica’s aim is scarily accurate. It’s taken a long time to get that way though.
~She has a pet rabbit that she’s named Archimedes.

~Curiosity
~Accepting other Cultures
~Able to keep her temper fairly well
Weaknesses:
~Stubborn
~Tends to compare herself to others, even if she shouldn’t.

Sample Post
Sicily couldn’t help but smirk as she made her away along the rooftops of Messina. Every part of her body hurt, granted not as badly as it had a little over a month ago, but she still hurt. Luckily it was almost over. The last of the axis troops had left hours ago, which she found highly amusing. She wished she could have been there to see the look on the American and British forces faces when they realized. Or rather, only the Americans. Last she had heard, the British forces hadn’t yet arrived into the city.
“Vi…” She sat on the edge of the roof she was currently on. She didn’t really have a purpose at the moment. She would probably have to go find the personification of America sometime, even though she didn’t want to. She wasn’t really interested in going to find the blond haired country at the moment. Nor did she want to have to put up with his overbearing attitude. At least England wasn’t there yet. She would rather deal with the United States than with the British Empire.
A noise from below made her sit up to see what happened. Below her, walking along, was a very confused and lost looking soldier. She climbed down from the top of the building and landed next to him, causing the soldier to jump. She couldn’t help but smirk at that. Although now that she was closer she could tell who said soldier was. After spending nearly a decade in New York with said state she had seen this man around.
S he brushed imaginary dust off her pants (she was borrowing them from Lovino though, so they weren’t really hers) she gave the man her sweetest smile. “Vi, Ciao America. Come stai?” The American turned to stare at her. Honestly, she was lucky that he wasn’t armed. Although he probably was. But right now he looked more confused than alarmed. She put her hands up, showing that she wasn’t armed herself. “I was just about to go looking for you, so I’m guessing you were probably looking for me.” She smirked as a hit of recognition sparked in the American’s eyes. “Si bambino.” She bowed. “Sicilia, at your service.”
