So I was thinking maybe the Crimean war, but I dunno. You might have a better idea that one.

Not a bad idea but the thing is we'd need a Russia for the Crimean War. He's crucial because without him there is no war. xD
Hmmm, there is the Arab Revolt with T. E. Lawrence that I was always interested in doing. And I'm sure we can pull it off without having to have any Arab nations on the forum. It could be show downs between Arthur and Sadik.
It was also a douche move on Arthur's part for meddling so much in Ottoman politics in relations to the Arab tribes in Arabia.....and the fact that Arthur was occupying Egypt. Bl
A sore point, for sure. However, if we want to stay out of the World Wars I believe we can make a thread concerning the leasing of Cyprus to Britain too.
Depends what you prefer more?

Hmm this is true.
Alright so Arab Revolt, isn't that what Lawrence of Arabia is based off of? Sound good to me though we could do that it would be interesting.
I am good with what ever, I'm a horrible decision maker. I'll let you pick?
Sorry I'm not terribly helpful there.

Yes!! That's exactly what it is! And you've seen the movie! Awesome! It will make this a lot easier. It also means less research...to an extent. xD
Let's do that one. Now, we just need to figure out who should start?

Oh I will still have to do research it's been years since I've forced myself to sit through the whole movie. It's quite long.
Hmm... I could start it, maybe with England arriving in Cairo to oversee things? I don't know. I'm not to sure how else I would start it.

That sounds perfect too me. You are the one that incites rebellion against me. Bl
But fair enough, I'll still have to look over a few things too so we'll be practically in the same boat.
And yes, the movies is a little longer than three hours...or three hours, can't remember. Still one of my favourites though. xD

It is good, but I just do not have the attention span. It's like when someone made me sit through the English Patient. I mean I read the book and loved every word, but did not have the attention span for the movie.

I think if I were to ever have a man crush on someone....well, on another, Ralph Fiennes would be one of them. >D
But I feel you, you have to be in the right mood or know your attention span will last that long. Cause it's long and there are certain parts that can lose your attention so easily.
I understand. D:

Hey, not sure if you were serious in the ask thread, but either way I think it's better to continue this here xD. If you want to have a cooking exchange thread, I'm game. From what I know, turkish cusine is actually quite popular in Venezuela righ now. Though this wouldn't be very historical, it'd still be a fun cultural exchange between the two nations =)
