What to Expect •Dat Austria
• A very slow player. Depending on the topics, I might need more research and brainstorming time.
• 600~1200 words for starter / intro threads. Easy topic starters would take a week. Two weeks for more obscure topics. (But I usually go faster than that)
• When the RP gets smooth, respond speed will increase, up to once every two days, about 300-500 words per response. (That's the max I can do)
Possible Threads
• Anything that has readable English resource for my research. Really, probably most of Austrian history.
• Everything! I like wars too, it's just.... I will some time studying how to write out the battle scenes. If you don't mind, bring the siege!
• Now! Reply to my thread! Now!

..........there is so much stuff we can do..........I've hated you since the beginning of your empire. We're always at odds! It's a perfect relationship because now my people are slowly invading Vienna...in peaceful invasion called immigration. >D
Anyway, I would say we could do the Siege of Vienna but we need a few other key players for that so maybe something smaller in nature.
But what?
We've had so many wars together.....

And I'm going to stop here cause there are many more...and it will just drag out this reply.
To top it all off, you're a huge ass that keeps blocking my accession to the EU because my people make up 3% population, douche move. Very douche-y.
So, the choice is really yours to make. Cause I'm just as open to threads as you are.

I'm tempted to say Battle of Vienna because I really want my coffee, if you don't mind me autoplaying countries like Bavaria and Saxony who are my amazing and loving bros (and half of me eventually)It is significant enough to have a lot of sources for research, and it definitely involves the least number of people when compared to other wars. Let's have that  |

If I remember correctly Bavaria and Saxony were duchies under the Holy Roman Empire....so although they were ruled by Dukes...they were more like states rather than countries. But if you want to autoplay them, be my guest. xD
Although, what about Hungary and the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. ( I say we ignore them from the battle just for convenience purposes....like what you said, but differently, pff, ignore some of the stuff I say, I didn't sleep well)
Although, now thinking back on it, I'm pretty sure it's important for the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth to be apart of this event because they save the day at the last minute...or I could also be thinking of the Siege but I'm pretty sure it was the Battle of Vienna.
So, if this is the battle you want to do then I'm on board.
In which case we should probably do more research and planning. >D
I stress on the reasearch...now that I'm second guessing myself.

......Yeah, the Poles were super important in this case. In fact, they (and sometimes Hungary) have been quite important for all the battles we fought. It is interesting that the name suggests an Austrian dominance in the battles (or at least the aftermath), but in reality it was other non-Austrian Christian league troops that contributed the most to the campaigns... xD
I would say the Battle seems short and brilliant for us to start, though. Austria sucks at dragged wars : D Let's find it if ignoring the Poles work

Hey hey, we should play. It rhymed. But yeah. Up for something with Finn? We could do something involving the War of the Austrian Succession (since Sweden was part of it for a while, and Finland was part of Sweden back then), or maybe Dano-Swedish War (despite the name, both were involved; Finland as part of Sweden as always, and Austria joined the other side). I'm sure there are other wars or incidents during those times as well for us to play, and we don't necessarily have to do combat bits, even if they're wars. Or, if you'd like to try something more modern and less conflict-y, we could do something mode modern-y? This kinda made me think of a post-WWII (whether post Cold War/EU joinage or not) thread where the two meet and discuss things (maybe end up exchanging stories from WWII that led them to decide they wanted to be neutral) or something like that. Or maybe something else. That's cool too, whatever you prefer. |
