what to expectA reply. Unless the thread is finished, that is. But, honestly, I do not have an estimate of how many words I will do as it will vary for whatever reason. Some replies don't need to be as longer as others. But the replies will be at least the forum required length. I will reply as soon as possible! That is another estimate I cannot really make as some replies take more thought and time to write and then sometimes I am distracted. I do just sit and fool around and eat at times. At the very least, I promise to write up a reply in the quickest time possible. I realise I should make an estimate but you are probably better off trying to view this in the most positive light possible, haha. possible threads- settlement, Christianisation of Iceland and other stuff - Norway
- settlement of Greenland - Greenland
- a lot of stuff with Denmark - Denmark
- World War II occupation - United Kingdom, United States of America
- Cod Wars - United Kingdom some more
- financial soul selling of 2009 - Russia
Let's just be real, here. There is quite a lot of stuff to do despite pre twentieth century Iceland being limited. The Icelandic government assisted Vietnamese refugees during the late twentieth century by giving them jobs and homes; Iceland was the first nation to acknowledge the Baltic states independence in 1991; there is a closeness with Japan and South Korea because of whaling 'sciences'; economics dudessss... There is a lot of stuff. I will do my best to think of something for us to play even though it will more than likely take place during modern times.[/size]

We could do an under the table whaling deal, for kicks? Japan also has started to host events in Iceland since 2010. Such as these, so we could just let the two dork about at one of the events, if you want?

Literally under the table.
Iceland has made Japanese studies available to Icelandic university students as well. Everyone wants to be Japan! All the great wonders of cultural exchange.
What are these events, may I ask?

Sorry! I linked it in the last post but forgot to underline it :c My fault! They're small festivals that seem to be rather popular! www.is.emb-japan.go.jp/culture/index.html Here's a link to the Japanese Embassy in Iceland page, with details of the events!

I am an idiot for not realising it. It isn't your fault, haha. The boards should underline stuff for us!
And I see! That is quite interesting. I suppose I simply have not googled hard enough in the past to find this information. We can certainly do this sort of thing. Would you prefer to do 2010 or 2011?

You're not an idiot! Lets agree that the board is in the wrong here.
Either or would be fine! Maybe 2011 because that sounds more established? They would have more to choose from and bond over. And then they can trade whales >D

Lillebror, we should do something together.
Maybe the settlement?
