What to Expect: Replies. I tend to think a lot before I post, and it's the same with all my characters. It takes me a reply or two to get the atmosphere of the game, so be patient with me, I'm a little bit slow but I promise I can do it. Word count: 400-800 Posting Speed: 2 to 4 times a week. Depending on my jobs, if I get tour groups then it's about 1 - 2 times a week. Possible Threads:- Any Viking attack - [Sweden, Denmark, England, Scotland, Ireland]
- 1397 - The Kalmar Union - [All Nordics]
- 1523 - The Dissolution of The Kalmar Union - [All Nordics]
- 1536 - 1814 - The Union With Denmark - [Denmark, but a lot of other people are involved in all the shenanigans, like Netherlands, France, Sweden]
- 1813 - 1814 - The Napoleonic Wars - [Denmark, Sweden, UK, Prussia, Russia, France, etc]
- 1814-1916 - Treaty of Kiel [Sweden]
- 1931-1933 - East Greenland Case - [Denmark]
- 1940 - World War II - [Germany and England mainly]
It's painful that Norway's history is so tied-up with the other Nordics more than with anyone else, or I'd be asking everyone to thread with me. Those are some of the stuff I can think about now, but there are many other things we can dig. I'm opened to pretty much anything. AU's, recent stuff, Munch's art, anything. On a side note, I'll let everyone know I'm claiming ownership of all Scandinavia, since no one's here to claim it back.

Norway, I'd love to do something in regards to WWII with you. Although, I may be a little slow at responding but once we get into it I'm sure my responses will speed up.
Hmm, now, there are quite a few things during WWII that we could do like the 'invasion/take over' of Norway....or I believe, I'd have to look this up again to double check it was in fact Norway, there was an archaeological team of Germans that were sent by the SS to go look for certain sites/artifacts from Norse Mythology that could be interesting and fun to do.
Anyway, let me know if there was something specific you had in mind concerning that time frame and then we can get a thread going.
Also, on a side note, we might be getting a Denmark. So your claim over Scandinavia might be challenged in the near future. xD Just a heads up.

Thanks, and don't worry! I'll be a little slow this week myself.
I think the expedition was towards Finland and Sweden, wasn't it? I've heard something about it, Germans trying to find pure aryan race evidences and things like that. I might be wrong, though. I'll look it up and come back to you if I find anything on the subject.
I didn't give it much thought yet, to be honest, sorry. The takeover was a big mess of two months of resistence just to have everyone running away to London in the end. They couldn't even ask for help because Finland was busy keeping their borders intact, and with an army too tired after the Winter War. Sweden was secretly on the Axis' side, and Denmark resisted just for two or three hours, such a brave warrior... >.>
If the expedition you talked about was really in Norway, we could put two and two together and plan from there.
Oh damn. Sounds like I'm going to war! >:

So I went back to my sources...and the expedition did go through Norway but they discovered things in Southern Sweden near the border of Norway. And I had been so sure there was something that had gone on in Norway too.
My own mind lied to me. D:
Hmmm, I could keep looking around to see what else they can do, maybe something in modern days? Or I'd be alright with doing something during Nazi occupation. Maybe a thread that concentrates on their relations during that time during the occupation?
Not sure, I'd have to brainstorm a little more.
